About Christopher Ash
 

 

Christopher Ash, a leading evangelical preacher and theologian from the United Kingdom, is the new Director of the Cornhill Training Course in London. Christopher took over the helm at Cornhill in September 2004, succeeding the founding Director, David Jackman. As Director, Christopher's main role is to teach, equip and train preachers and lay workers to better understand and teach the Bible. 

Christopher was previously the Rector of All Saints, Little Shelford, and prior to that, served as a Curate at St Andrews the Great, Cambridge, under Mark Ashton. Christopher trained for ordination at Oxford University, gaining the university theology prize. 

Christopher has also had a very influential ministry through his books which include Marriage: Sex in the Service of God (IVP), a biblical and theological study of marriage focusing on its purpose and definition; Married for God, a shorter volume of tackling similar issues; and Out of the Storm: Grappling with God in the book of Job, an exposition of the book of Job. 

He is married to Carolyn and they have three sons and one daughter.
