About the Speaker

Richard Chin RICHARD CHIN is the National Director of the Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students (AFES) which employs 100 trained staff to reach the thousands of students on Australian university campuses for Christ. Originally a medical doctor, Richard trained in ministry at the University of New South Wales before completing a theological degree at Moore Theological College. He has been based at Wollongong University since 1995, where he also serves part-time as the University Chaplain. Apart from University campuses, he teaches the Bible on platforms such as Katoomba Christian Convention, Church Missionary Society events and the AFES National Training Event. Richard is a Malaysian-born Chinese Aussie who is married to Bronwyn. They have four children.
