Ministry Matters is a weekend conference that seeks to equip and help Christians think biblically about issues related to full-time Christian work.

Vaughan Roberts

Vaughan Roberts studied law at Cambridge University before a brief spell doing student ministry in South Africa. Since 1991 he has been on the staff of St. Ebbe’s Church Oxford, where he now Senior Pastor. He is also involved in ‘9:38’, an initiative which encourages younger people to consider the possibility of Gospel ministry and promotes ministry training apprenticeships.


John Chapman


John Chapman is a well-known evangelist in Australia and overseas. He is renowned for his humour and his clear teaching of the Bible. He was the Director of the Anglican Department of Evangelism for 20 years and is the author of “A Fresh Start”, “Know and Tell the Gospel” and “Setting Hearts on Fire”.


Christopher Chia

Chris is the founding pastor of Adam Road Presbyterian Centre (ARPC), a fast-growing evangelical church in Singapore. A regular conference speaker in Singapore and overseas, Chris has built up a reputation as a clear, persuasive and faithful expositor of God's word.

Prior to his time at ARPC, Chris worked as a journalist before heading to Moore Theological College in Sydney for his training. He is married to Mona and they have two children.
